    if received by Wednesday, December 12th.

    Sunday, December 2nd (First Sunday of Advent)

    8:00 a.m.   –  Holy Eucharist, Rite 1

    9:30 a.m.   –  Education Hour for children, youth, and adults.

    10:30 a.m. –  Holy Eucharist, Rite 2, with Children’s Chapel

    5:00 p.m.   –  Holy Eucharist, Rite 2 w/ Healing Service

     

    Sunday, December 9th (Second Sunday of Advent, Feast of St. Nicholas, obsv.)

    8:00 a.m.   –  Holy Eucharist, Rite 1

    9:30 a.m.   –  Education Hour for children, youth, and adults.

    10:30 a.m. –  Holy Eucharist, Rite 2, with Children’s Chapel

    5:00 p.m.   –  Holy Eucharist, Rite 2

    6:00 p.m.   –  Second Sunday Supper, Parish Hall (Pot Luck style friendly dinner)

     

    Sunday, December 16th (Third Sunday of Advent)

    8:00 a.m.   –  Holy Eucharist, Rite 1

    9:30 a.m.   –  Education Hour for children, youth, and adults (last day of program year)         

    10:30 a.m. –  Holy Eucharist with annual Children’s Pageant.

     **Children participating in the Pageant need to be in the Undercroft at 10:30      

     **No Children’s Chapel during the 10:30 service due to the Pageant

           **No Third Sunday Lunch after the service

    5:00 p.m.   –  Holy Eucharist, Rite 2

     

    Sunday, December 23rd (Fourth Sunday of Advent)

    10:30 a.m. – Holy Eucharist with special presentation of “Amahl & the Night Visitors”

          **Nursery available but no Children’s Chapel, no Education Hour

    Hanging of the Greens

    Stay after the 10:30 service to help decorate St. George’s for Christmas, and enjoy festive refreshments at coffee hour

           No 8:00 a.m. or 5:00 p.m. services

     

    Christmas Eve (Monday, December 24th)

    4:30 p.m. – Musical Prelude

    5:00 p.m. – Family Christmas Service w/ Holy Communion

    **Nursery for ages 3 & under available

                          **Children are invited to bring gifts of disposable diapers and other           

                              infant items, which will be donated to local charities.

     

    9:30 p.m.   – Musical Prelude, featuring St. George’s Choir & The Oakwood Brass

    10:00 p.m. – Festive Holy Eucharist (w/ incense)

      **Nursery care is not available at this service.

     

    December 25th

    No services

     

    Sunday, December 30th (First Sunday of Christmas)

    10:30 a.m. – Holy Eucharist Rite 2

       **Nursery not available, no Children’s Chapel or Education programs

    No 8:00 a.m. or 5:00 p.m. services

     

    Sunday, January 6th (Feast of Epiphany)

    All services 8:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m. w/ Children’s Chapel, and 5:00 p.m. resume normal scheduling. No Sunday school or Education Hour programming. Nursery available for 10:30 a.m. service.

     

    Sunday, January 13th (First Sunday after Epiphany)

    Start of the Program year, all education programs at 9:30a.m. (Youth Group, Sunday School, etc.) and Bible Studies resume regular spring schedule.
