ADVENT 2016 @ ST. GEORGE’S
Sunday, November 27th (First Sunday of Advent)
9:30 a.m. – All education programs continue as scheduled for children, youth, and adults.
10:30 a.m. – All children start in church for presentation of Crèche figurines and lighting of the Advent Wreath, then they will go to Sunday School (Godly Play).
8:00am & 5:00pm services at regular times
Sunday, December 4th (Second Sunday of Advent, Feast of St. Nicholas, obsv.)
9:30 a.m. – All education programs continue as scheduled for children, youth, and adults.
10:30 a.m. – All children start in church for presentation of Crèche figurines and lighting of the Advent Wreath, then they will go to Sunday School (Godly Play).

Children are invited to bring gifts of disposable diapers and other
infant items, which will be donated to local charities.
NOTE: Service time is not at 11:00pm
9:30 p.m. Musical Prelude – featuring St. George’s Choir & Oakwood Brass
10:00 p.m. Festive Holy Eucharist (w/ incense)
Nursery care is not available at this service.

Sunday, January 1st (First Sunday of Christmas, Holy Name)
10:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist, no Nursery or Sunday School
No 8:00am or 5:00 pm services
Sunday, January 8th (First Sunday of Epiphany)
All services 8:00am, 10:30am, and 5:00pm resume normal scheduling, Nursery open. No Sunday school or Education programming.
Sunday, January 15th (Second Sunday of Epiphany)
All programs (Youth Group, Sunday School, etc.) and Bible Studies resume regular spring schedule.
Envelopes for Christmas Flower Memorials will be available in the pews starting Advent 1. Memorials will be printed in the Christmas Eve bulletins if received by Monday, December 12th.
