Fall Programs for Families, Youth, & Children

There is so much happening here at St. George's Church this fall!
In addition to Nursery for our littlest ones (9am-11:45), we have a vibrant Sunday School program for children age 3/potty-trained to 5th Grade. During the 10:30 service, kids are engaged in lessons from scripture and also enjoy music instruction. The kids sing on the 3rd Sunday of each month during the 10:30 service. Parents bring your child down to the Sunday School wing before the 10:30 service and sign in. They will rejoin you at the peace. Our Family Movie Days for the fall are also set for Sept 26 and Oct 24 -- come hang out with us in the parish hall from 3-5 for popcorn and a movie.
For Youth, 6th grade to 12th grade, we've got Youth Bible Study in the library and a Youth Confirmation Class in the chapel both on Sundays at 9:30. And our Youth Group is back in session too! Normally youth group meets 3-5, but on 3rd Sundays we’re trying to have our gather immediately following the 3rd Sunday Lunch. We've also got tons of Family-Friendly Fellowship: 2nd Sunday Potluck Suppers at 6; 3rd Sunday Lunches after the 10:30 service; and of course the parish picnic on the rectory lawn Saturday, Aug. 15 (sign up for that last one in the Welcome Lounge).
Also, our "wednesdays @ stgeorges" are coming back. This fall, our Wednesday series will run from October 7 - November 18. Each Wednesday, we'll have a potluck supper at 6 followed by programs for children, youth, and adults. You're out the door by 7:15. We're really excited to offer Godly Play!
And keep your eyes peeled for our first annual Faith & Family Conference. St. George's will host guest speakers on Saturday morning, Nov 21. More info will be coming soon!
