    For Parents:

    At Weird Animals VBS, kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and dig into yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures, and collect Bible Memory Buddies. All of this teaches them that Jesus' love is one of a kind! Kids will also dive into exciting experiments at the Imagination Station which connect with the daily Bible theme. Children are grouped into Zoo Crews by age/grade, which they will be in all week. Each day begins in the Parish Hall with all the Zoo Crews attending the introductory program and then go off to each of the four VBS stations. Everyone gathers back together at the end of the morning for a wrap up session, after which kids will be checked out and picked up by parents/guardians.

    Daily Schedule and Instructions:

    8:45 - 9:00am - Drop off and check in. On the first day of VBS (July 28th) all children are checked in by parents on the upper level the Main Church entry hall. Every day after that kids are checked in with their group leaders (called Zoo Crews) in the Parish Hall. Please do not bring children earlier than 8:45am, and please do not have children enter on their own, Parent/Guardian must escort child(ren) in and sign them in and out.

    9:00am to 9:30 - Opening Program in Parish Hall

    9:30 to 11:30 - Weird Animals!

    11:30 to Noon - Closing Program and check out in Parish Hall at noon. Each day all children are signed out with their Zoo Crew leader in the Parish Hall. Children will not be allowed outside unless accompanied with the Parent or Guardian who checked them in. If the same person who dropped off is not able to pick up, please indicate to the Zoo Crew leader at drop off time the name and relationship of the person who will be picking up and signing out your child.
