St. George's 38th annual Spaghetti Dinner & Silent Auction will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018, 5:00 – 8:00pm.All proceeds benefit our parish's outreach to those in need here in Dayton, across the U.S., and around the world. Ticket sales, volunteer sign-ups, & wine donation sign-ups begin following services on January 7. (Advance ticket prices: $12 adult, $5 child age 12 and under, $30 household max.) SPAGHETTI DINNER CENTERPIECES NEEDED: During December and January, please include boxes of pasta and jars or cans of sauce among your donations to fill the red wagons in the Narthex. They will be used as centerpieces and sent on to the food pantry after the dinner. SPAGHETTI DINNER WINE TABLE: Wine donations are needed for the wine table (to be sold by the glass!) Beginning January 7, you may sign up in the Welcome Area to donate a bottle(s) of wine. Because alcohol may not be stored nor left for pick up at St. George's, please bring wine donations on Sundays only & give them directly to Thelma Best or Julie Powers, to store the bottles at home until the dinner...or contact Julie Powers (602-1335, ). (Also, please remember BYOB is not permitted at the Spaghetti Dinner.) Note: To simplify this year, all glasses of wine will cost $4 each. Please, bring some $1 bills to help the cashier make change.
