Series: Jesus Is Alive...So What?

At Easter, and really at all times, Christians claim and declare that "Jesus is alive!" But what does this mean, or to put it another way, "So what?" Today will begin a new series running through the Season of Easter where we seek to answer that question. Why does the resurrection matter, and what changes or new things does it cause us to have to face? In Part 1 today, building on our reading from John's Gospel, we address the fact that Jesus' resurrection changes our understanding of history.
