Passage:Luke 24:13-35

Preacher: Ben Phillips

Series: Jesus Is Alive...So What?

In Part 2 of our series on the significance and meaning of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, we look at how the Resurrection changes our understanding of the Old Testament. Yes, reading the Old Testament (OT) is not easy, but it is still the Word of God and is meant to feed God's people. But how? In Luke 24 Jesus teaches two of his disciples that all the Scriptures were written ultimately about himself, so Christ is the key to understanding the OT. We will look at why the OT is so important, as well as three ways in which we are to see Christ as the central figure of the OT and the means by which we come to fully understand the OT. It is like no other and will truly help you see Christ in all the Bible) and "According to Plan" by Graeme Goldsworthy.
