No Matter How Bad Things Get, In the End, Jesus Wins

Passage:Revelation 21:10-22:5

During Eastertide this year we have been reading through the final chapters of the book of Revelation. This final book of the Bible was written for Christians who were suffering for their faith, a situation rather alien to most contemporary Americans. Everyone in this sinful and fallen world suffers, but what happens when your home is burned, your family butchered, and your community wiped out for no other reason than because you are a Christian. Revelation speaks through the ages to this matter by revealing to us how the Story will end: that no matter how bad things get, in the end, Jesus wins. This singular reality and truth does, and must, change the way we look at our problems today.
