All Saints Day- Special Guest Preacher & Teacher
The Rev. Dr. Ephraim Radner
St. George’s is excited to welcome the Rev. Dr. Ephraim Radner, one of the leading theologians of the whole Anglican world for the feast of All Saints, Sunday, November 3. Dr. Radner will be teaching at 9:30 a.m. for all adults and all youth in the parish hall and then preaching at the 10:30 a.m. service.
Dr. Radner is professor of theology at Wycliffe College, University of Toronto and a priest of the Episcopal Diocese of Colorado. He’s here in our diocese for a conference at the Cathedral on Saturday, November 2 and has agreed to be with us the next morning!
Before his current appointment in Toronto, Dr. Radner served in parishes, as a missionary in Burundi (East Africa), and taught at Yale University, Iliff Seminary in Denver, and the Episcopal seminary in Haiti. He has written and edited several books, most of which focus on the challenge of being the church, the body of the crucified Jesus. Make a point of coming at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
