Global Wave of Prayer

This coming Thursday (5/10) is the Feast of the Ascension.  Before he rose to the right hand of God the Father, Christ told his disciples to wait and pray -- then, after 9 days, the Holy Spirit descended upon them, and filled with power they shared the good news of Jesus.  So there is a pattern here to notice: fervent prayer, Holy Spirit, conversions to Jesus.  Just recently The archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, has invited the whole Anglican Communion and any other Christians who will join us to engage a Global Wave of Prayer during that same period between Ascension and Pentecost -- and we are praying for people to be converted (turned toward) Jesus.
