No Room

On a cold December night in 1223, a gathering of people in Greccio, Italy saw the first nativity scene as we know it today.  Francis of Assisi himself had the idea, and his goal was for everyday poor people to see how God has come down to us, how he poured out his mercy and love down to the bottom of our poverty, the places where we call our - cry out - for God.  This is the good news: in God we have a savior; God is with us and Christ is for us.
