Recognizing Gift; Offering First Fruits

Do we adequately recognize that all we have -- our lives, our homes, our money, the afternoon we might enjoy this very Sunday, the smiles of our children, our health -- is gift? None of us is a self-made man or woman; rather, all we have is gift from the true king. And we can ENJOY it! In this joy, then, we offer up a portion -- the first fruits, not the leftover scraps -- to the true king who gave it in the first place.
