Slaying Dragons by Grace

John Bunyan's "Pilgrim's Progress" is a story that presents the Christian life as a pilgrim quest with challenges, metaphorical giants, in our path.  It's a rousing tale which probably excites many of us to set out as questing knights.  And we are indeed called to wrestle with giants: raising children faithfully, being faith in our marriages, loving neighbor and enemy alike.  Paul in 1 Timothy talks about the lure of wealth as one of those giants too.  How can we, weak as we are fight such giants?  Grace alone.
