These chains have no ultimate power

Paul, sitting in jail, wrote to Timothy, his spiritual child and the bishop of the Christians at Ephesus.  How would Paul encourage them?  He looked at his own chains!  They're real, but have no ultimate power.  Neither does Nero Caesar himself who would eventually execute Paul.  The Ephesian Christians -- like us -- face all manner of challenges which are very real.  But do we know the truth?  The question is, which story will we live: the Caeser story or the Christ story?  Paul wrote to Timothy, for this reason I suffer, but I know the one in whom I have put my trust!
