Transfiguration: God's Law & Grace

The story of the Transfiguration, the event recording in Matthew, Mark, Mark, Luke, and 2nd Peter, is a helpful reminder that not only his Jesus God's own son, but that he is the son of the same God who bound himself to the people of Israel.  We have to avoid slick oppositions between the Old Testament and the New.  The Law of God, given to Moses, in fact drives us to a gracious savior, Jesus Christ.  And in his light we see light.
