Special Guest Preacher & Teacher

The Rev. Dr. Matthew Olver

We’ll celebrate the Feast of St. George on Sunday, April 26, with a guest preacher and speaker, the Rev. Dr. Matther Olver, at both the 9am and 11am services and for the Rector’s Bible Study at 10am (Youth and Adults). The Rev. Dr. Matthew Olver is the Executive Director of The Living Church and Lecturer in Liturgics at Nashotah House Seminary. The Living Church is a media ministry with a monthly magazine in publication since 1878. Our associate rector, the Rev. Dr. Calvin Lane is editor of Covenant: The Living Church’s Online Journal and our rector, the Rev. Ben Phillips is on TLC’s Foundation (Board). Dr. Olver is an expert in the Church’s worship, has served parishes in Texas and Wisconsin, and will give a talk at 10am on the shape and  history of the Anglican Communion.
